Our designs are inspired by late 19th century dressing gowns, fashioned back then in thick and heavy fabric. Their main functions were to protect a suit from tobacco smoke in smoking lounges or to keep warm through many waking hours around the house. 

Floral and paisley patterns were common for such loungewear and reminded of its Indian origins.
